Jeszcze niedawno wydawało się, że teza Petera Wincha, iż stosunki społeczne to tak naprawdę stosunki między ideami (a więc można do nich stosować narzędzia logiki), stanie się główną osią moich rozważań o Traktacie Reformującym UE. Że będę pokazywała, jak globalna sieciowość wymusza wprowadzenie do urzędniczych procedur elementów logiki wielowartościowej i że właśnie TR jest tego przykładem. Opiera się bowiem na zasadzie ciągłego napięcia między równoległymi, uznanymi za równoprawne, rzeczywistościami normatywnymi. Traktuje tożsamość jako całe pole możliwych kombinacji i pokazuje, że konflikt bywa iluzją, bo zazwyczaj chodzi o odmienne aspekty i stadia procesu.
